I put new strings on Baby yesterday, and they'll take a few days to settle. Every thime I pick it up it sounds like a different instrument. My initial impression is that they make Baby even louder, and it's easier to get a consistent tone at a low volume, too, which is much cooler. I'll have to see what they sound like tonight.
I had been using a Zyex G, D, and A with a Pirastro Oliv gold E. I'm trying out the spendier Eva Pirazzis on G, D, and A, but stuck with a (new! shiny!) Oliv gold E. I luvs my gold E string.
Mostly, I'm writing this because I can never remember when I last changed strings.
