Weekend round-up!

The Tim Minchin show was a blast. If you're going to have a giant leak over the stage in the middle of a performance, it's really great if the performer is a comedian. He worked the deluge right in.

When westrider was down for my birthday in March, he brought a present... for my boyfriend. When I went up for his birthday on Sunday, he gave me a present! So we decided Erik and I need to get westrider something for Erik's birthday in August. It all works out in the end! It was a really great visit, too; I met some fun new people and we had one of our media/story-telling/I'm-from-the-internet conversations, which could have happily gone on much longer if I hadn't been faced with a two-hour drive home.

I also got a teensy bit of yard work done, and had a small panic when I realized I'm going to be out of town for some or all of the next three weekends. Summer is a busy time.
