Yeah, I can see that -- though in the first instance, I'd say it's more that I hadn't actually stopped and thought about it enough.

I totally agree on the second paragraph, though. It rings a bell with how I feel about writing. I've always thought I was a mediocre writer at best; then I got to the workplace and realized that by comparison most people really suck. It'd actually be better to think of myself as a good writer and most of the rest as average.
