Sketch Dump (Creativity Challenge?)
Chicken festival and game nights.
Before I could judge the chicken festival art show yesterday, the art had to show up. While I waited for there to be anything to judge I sketched actual chickens.
The two large roosters were on leashes. They were just chillin' in the shade at the park, with their leashes tethered to a pole. The big guys wore cat harnesses; the little ones wore kitten harnesses. And I got to pet them! Yay, chickens.
At game night last Friday Ivienne (my druid) was snatched up by an enraged plant beast with tentacles. Since we used up our full quota of Japanese-School-Girl jokes the last time we fought a tentacle monster, this time I described it as a 50s pulp sci-fi cover.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fenmere (who visited and played with us, hooray!) suggested I attempt to channel Frank Frazetta.
DM: But is she wearing armor?
Me: It all magically fell off when she was hoisted by the tentacle. Also, she's flailing a lot more than is in character.
There is clearly not enough butt in this picture.
I wanted to give her a more unnatural pose, but doing terrible things to anatomy was too hard. :P
