The problem with angsting on the internet, dear readers, is that you don't have any hyperbole left for the total mental breakdown you have the next day for no apparent reason.
Doing much better now, but still more than a mite confused. I don't get it, brain chemistry. What did I ever do to you?

I've certainly been stressed to that point, and I know stress was a contributing factor, but it felt like a physical thing (damn it, brain chemistry, I medicated the hell out of you! Stop that!). I felt physically strange all day, and didn't have the normal cycle of nasty thoughts -- just totally random sobbing.
Which, as someone who doesn't cry much -- at sad books, movies, when grieving -- is a little strange to deal with.
