Since so many of you...er, a few of you....er, bluwyngz...have asked what I've been up to artistically lately, here you go! Hot off the drawing/painting table, finished within the hour, 5"x7" acrylic.




This is actually the third of these I've done in a week. I'm about to start another one. I can't explain it, but they make me grin.

Colors aren't great 'cause there isn't enough light for the photo. It's on facebook 'cause my ftp program expired and I'm too lazy to download again tonight to put it up unofficially at SkellingtonArt. Dear lord I need to update my webpage.



I really need to do some coding, and I'm really looking forward to installing KotOR, and I suppose I ought to eat soon, but I'm going to go start another painting instead. Boo. Ya.

You'd think I'd have realised this by now, but it's a suprise *every time*.

Phalo Blue scares me, honestly. it stains damn near everything: glass, skin, brushes, marble, the cat, your mother, the kitchen sink. Hell, I wouldn't be surpised if it could stair teflon. I don't know where the Phalo Blue pigment is derived from, but I'm pretty sure it was Hell.

Bearing this in mind, it should be no suprise that I absolutely adore phalo blue.

If you're ever near oil paints, introduce yourself to Prussian blue - it's a deeper intigo with phalo tinting/staining strength +3. Prussian blue claims brushes. And clothes. And paintings. And small monarchies. All sorts of things.
