Duck duck goose

There was a duck in my parent's yard yesterday. She was grey and white and her name is Pearl. Apparently she escaped from one of the neighbors (for those as don't know, my folks live very much in town). We tried to catch her, but she flew to the neighbor's roof and waddled up and down it for hours. It's amazing how amusing a duck can be.

In other, non-duck-related news, Kristin Myers and Our Heroes (one of those would be me) are performing on the 26th. I'll be pretty happy when that's behind me.

The house-party crowd had a brilliant session at Nancy's Saturday, so at least I know I can play some kinds of music.
