My dear
emony42 spec'd out a truly awesome machine for me, the parts of which I just purchased, with one upgrade, for more than I'm comfortable paying for anything*. I have a year to pay it off, so it doesn't even have to cut into my europe trip, but I still flinch whenever I'm clicking "Pay" on anything over $1000.
Now I just need to choose a monitor and I'll be good to go. Erik has one I can borrow to get the system up and running, and I just need to decide what I want for longer term. I'm debating between a viewsonic pro and a dell ultrasharp (22" widescreen, both).
Thanks Lynsey!
*"More than I' comfortable paying for anything" is a moving target, but is always a lot lower than I'd hope, especially given I'm no longer a Broke College Student.
