I feel all naked and exposed.

Little cancer children now have ten more inches of hair, and my braid only reaches to mid-back. I don't think it's ever been this short. I think I'm having ghost itch...

On the other hand, I feel all light-headed and floaty!

Wow... I don't think I remember your hair ever being quite as short as you describe. Has the sudden difference in hair weight started to affect your balance?
