My last gradschool application was mailed today, and yes, I decided it would be my last. No more app fes and work for me. I picked four nice schools in great locations, and I'll be happy with whatever I get.
After my mailing mission I walked to the rec center in the snow and swam ten laps. Immersed in liguid H20 and watching the crystaline form gently drift by outside, while inside I'm not so gently drifting...paddling...struggling...flailing. Graceful in the water I ain't.
So, I feel that I've earned my just reward. Unfortunatley, since I'm broke (upwards of $500 spent on app fees, mailing, GRE, and portfolio prep), my just reward is just playing a computer game (Grim Fandango). I had another reward planned, but it'll have to wait. For now, I'm being decadently geeky - I'm using my new wireless keyboard laying across my lap so I can lounge in my chair with my feet on my desk. Lower back pain, here I come!

masterrobyn, and hope that alls' friendly, loving and warm on this chilly day. I should have come down to the Blackdrop, but I looked at that white slippery stuff and pigeoned (which is like quailing, only without the fancy hair-do). Joyeux anniversaire, Robyn!
