I have the worst reasons for never getting anything done. Well, perhaps not the worst...I mean, I could be spending all of my valuable time polishing my staple collection, or trying to find the recipe for a twinkie, or even play viola. But no, my personal time waster is my tragic lack of decision. Don't get me wrong, when it's an important, stressful, vital decision, I'm there, man, I'm on it. It's the decisions that sneak up on you, and then when you start to waffle (because verbs made out of breakfast food are just that cool), you discover that everything else for the project will be changed by that decision. Not a matter of life or death - just a matter of hundreds of work hours spent going the wrong direction. So it's better not to put in the time, right? Until the decision is made.
In this case, the decision in question is the name of my 'company' (not in the legal sense of the word), the name/logo that'd appear on business cards and webpage. Somehow I thought I'd made that decision a year ago (Skellington Art), to the point that I spent about three hours last night getting a passable version of the logo (to be posted here later), and four different business card designs.
But the water-inspired graphic I'm playing with for webnavigation 'd make a really cool logo, and I've always been profoundly attached to water, Puget Sounder that I am, and, well, isn't 'River Shadow' a really spif name? As in River Shadow Design, or Studio, or something? River Shadow Studio has a ring.
Yes, I am ready and waiting for the giant dope slap. I won't take it personally.
BTW, sorry to all the viola players out there. I actually do like viola.

But Skellington Art is bad ass. Especially because it's based on your name.
I'd like to see the logos you're comparing.
