I get the same sort of attention from my 14yo long haired ginger tom, every time I appear in the kitchen, even when I have fed him within the previous 30 minutes...
And sunlight coming in the lounge window highlights Every Single Cat Hair he has shed all over the place, even after I have just vacuumed the place to within an inch of it's life...
