Ah, but Miyazaki is awesome, which makes it easier to deal with the 'no lot' thing (so does being aimed at kids, I think, though I still watch Totoro on a regular basis).

I don't really care about making money at it or not, honestly... I suppose I just want the sense of accomplishment. "This is a thing! I made this thing!" is probably the root motivation for almost everything I do.
