Hey, I'm still alive!

And kicking,even!

I had a lovely time up in Bellingham, visitng zair99, fenmere, gettin' hugs and lattes from duffy61, singing with Rob'n'Terri'n'Flip'n'Zeke, and of course hangin' with Yuriko. It all hammers home that I need to get outta my house, because it was an AMAZINGLY relaxing vacation.

Okay, going through the WWU art department to find Virginia was...disconcerting. But other'n'that...

Now, I'm currently workin, paintin', and home-huntin'. I have a lead on a two-bedroomin downtown Oly for about $650, if I could only get a hold of the apt. manager. After the whole movin' deal, I hope to refocus on cartooning, art, and contract work (I have two contract gigs and a pro-bono right now, but I'm moving slowly).

Oh, and music - need to do more of that, too!

Fenmere mentioned one of my comics in one of his comics. This makes me gleeful.

Also, kehrli made me gleeful with this sentence: "I miss burritos and sunlight and sandals on hot pavement - the ones with the soles worn through that I refuse to stop wearing because they are my HIPPIE SANDALS damnit, and you don't throw hippie sandals away, you wear them until they literally fall off your feet." Even though I can't wear sandles, that brings the happy.

And...well, the intarwebs are a creatures...are creature...that take the pluringular form. But anyway, they is some creatureo f the moment! Regardless, I'm going to dredge up an OLD meme. As in several weeks, nay, a MONTH, ancient. Why? Is it because I'm a mindless follower? Is it because I'm so out of touch, I think a month old meme will make me teh cool? NO! It is because I FREAKIN' LOVE MS PAINT!
