A busyness of Things

Usually, my to-do lists make me feel more in control. This one makes me want to run screaming into the night... and it's still light out.



Things have definitely reached the point where I have no hope in coping without a List. A subdivided list, at that!

Rent-a-Room Preparation
+ Last coat of polyurethane on the window frame Done!
+ thorough wall cleaning (paint prep)
+ coat of kilz primer on EVERYTHING
+ x2 coats of white on the ceiling and inside of closet
+ x2 coats of that other color on the walls
+ rent!

Artz
+ Painting Commission
(THIS art project, I'm doin' RIGHT!)
-- do at least a page of black'n'white value thumbs Done!
-- do at least a page of color thumbs
-- finish prepping panel (at least 1 more coat of gesso)
+ Mailbox
-- Prime mailbox
-- Paint mailbox with exciting things (Spaceships? Fiddles? Sheep?)
+ finish New Years Cards art before the end of January, damn.
+ Finish Rhi/Joker pic (before end of Feb for thing zweihand is organizing)
+ Sheep for stasia

Music
+ find songs I want to learn for NEXT vocal lesson (modified)
+ find recordings of songs we already do, for same Done, with E's help.
+ finally memorize Monique at the Anvil and Sidereal Shuffle (Done!)
+ post Pinniped recordings for the amusement/enjoyment of my LJ readers!

Garage/Studio conversion
+ Schedule window estimate Done!
+ finalize window dimensions (may wait to talk to estimator)
+ clean garage so estimator can walk in there Not actually needed.

Gonzales Recovery
+ finish cleaning off old drives
+ wipe old drives
+ run SeaTools on old drives
+ If bad, try to get replaced
+ Otherwise, set up in RAID
+ Replace scattered files.
+ install printer driver (for some reason this isn't working) Done!

Writing
+ make outline for the rest of star
+ replay the end of ME2 so I have a clue how to do the former.
+ get a chapter started pronto.
+ edit chapter for author 1.
+ edit chapter for author 2.


If I seem frazzled, well, now you know why.

I suppose I should try and keep my house humanly habitable during all this, too. Clean ALL the things? *whimpers*
