Fandom in Rhyme

I went to bed late, couldn't sleep, woke up repeatedly when I did finally get to sleep, and am in general shot -- I spent ten minutes searching my room for the bra I was currently wearing this morning.

The only thing that's be able to grab my attention through the sleep-dep fog is rewriting bits of Into the Woods to be about Mass Effect 3. Which is totally your fault, tersa.

On Saturday evening I OD'd on Dr. Seuss* and wrote a summary of the upcoming chapter of ASTSHB in end-rhyme. (Thankfully I can't show you that one, because twitter appears to have choked on the awfulness and made the whole dissappear).

May need an intervention if this trend continues. Writing in poor rhyme-and-meter is even less useful than my writing in prose.


*Was watching twin 6-yo cousins. It was basically Seuss or The Muppets all night long.

I can think of many far worse ways of spending an evening than ODing on Dr Seuss and/or The Muppets...

Yup, except for the fact that they wore me out, it was pretty nice. Especially since the Muppets are much more aimed at adults than at kids, but there was enough random Gonzo and "Hehehe, he's a FROG!" that the littles liked it, too. :)
