As I may have mentioned before, I'm a little excited by the upcoming screen version of Sweeney Todd.

Now that Imdb has more info, I find this:
Alan Rickman has officially announced on Canada's The Hour television show that he will in fact be playing the part of Judge Turpin, and does in fact have a duet with Depp

Peter, remember what we said about Snape+Malfoy=badass-related film-combustion? This WILL BE MORE-SO, with EXTRA SEXY and +3 WRONGNESS POINTS.

Actually, It's more that I think Sweeney Todd kicks ass. Then, they put such a bad assed cast together for it.

I simply cannot wait to hear those two singing "Pretty Women"

Of course, I think most people are waiting to hear "A Little Priest"

I'm waiting for Pretty Women too. I'll always hear Angela Lansbury singing "A Little Priest", but the prospect of two bad-ass, disturbingly sexy actors singing a disturbingly stalkerish song while portraying disturbingly evil/amoral characters? Priceless!

As I said in the previous post, I'm really intrigued to see how awkward nasty I feel when Judge Turpin is played by my favorite actor/the best voice ever. Ultimate EVIL! Irresistable voice...
